Client Council

The Council m
embers represent workers from Plant 1, Plant 2, the Materials Recycling Facility and Community Employment Services. The purpose of the Council is to give representatives the opportunity to provide suggestions and ideas that help Holiday House improve services.  Meetings are held every two months and copies of the minutes are posted at various locations within our facilities. Recommendations are presented to members of the Holiday House Management Team for their consideration.

Music Therapy

The Association for the Developmentally Disabled sponsors music therapy services for participants in the Day Services Program.  Music Therapy offers the program members an opportunity to work on social skills, communication skills, positive leisure skills and self-esteem. They also engage in song writing, instrument playing and much more.  Over fifty individuals have gone through the program and more will continue to be served with new groups starting every six months.
